FRXN Terms of Use
Effective July 7, 2026. Source text for frxn.app/terms. These terms cover the FRXN Chrome extension, the frxn.app website, and the FRXN newsletter.
What FRXN is
FRXN is a free browser extension that offers a brief self-check-in at online checkout, a personal dashboard, and a library of educational articles about money. Using it requires no account, and your data stays on your device, as described in the .
By installing the extension or using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use FRXN.
FRXN is education, not professional services
This is the most important section, so it comes first.
FRXN, its check-ins, its articles, and its newsletter are educational and informational. They are general information for a general audience. They are not, and are not a substitute for:
Therapy or mental health treatment. Using FRXN does not create a therapist-client relationship with Jessica Reis or anyone else. If you are struggling, work with a licensed professional in your area. If you are in crisis in the United States, call or text 988.
Financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. The articles describe general concepts (savings accounts, retirement accounts, credit, debt payoff). They do not know your situation and are not recommendations to buy, sell, or hold anything. Decisions about your money are yours, ideally made with a qualified professional who knows your full picture.
Medical advice. Content about menstrual cycles describes general patterns and is not diagnosis or treatment.
Your data and your responsibility
FRXN stores your check-in data on your own device. That means you are the only person who can back it up, export it, or lose it. Clearing browser data, resetting FRXN, or uninstalling the extension deletes it, and no one can recover it for you because no copy exists elsewhere.
Affiliate links
Some links in the newsletter and on frxn.app are affiliate links, which means FRXN may earn a commission if you open an account or make a purchase through them, at no extra cost to you. FRXN only links to products it would recommend for free, and every placement is disclosed where it appears. An affiliate link is never personalized advice.
Acceptable use
FRXN is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use. Do not resell it, misrepresent your affiliation with it, use its name or brand to imply endorsement, or attempt to interfere with its operation for other users. The FRXN name, wordmark, and content are owned by FRXN and may not be reused without permission, except for the personal data you generate, which is yours.
No warranties
FRXN is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that checkout detection will trigger on every site, that estimated amounts are accurate, that the extension is uninterrupted or error-free, or that the educational content fits your circumstances.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FRXN and its creator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any financial decisions you make or do not make, arising from your use of the extension, site, or newsletter. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for FRXN, which is zero for the free extension.
Changes
If these terms change, the new version will be posted at frxn.app/terms with a new effective date. Continued use after a change means acceptance. Because the extension does not have accounts or a way to contact users, checking this page is the way to stay current.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Florida without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
